Drooler has always been the "big kid" on the block. Parents were often afraid to let their children play
with him because they were afraid of what would happen. His large arms with tentacles were a hazard
because he would latch on to someone or something, and have no idea. So shoplifting was often a problem.
But he would have no idea anything happened until the officer stopped him. The mothers always dreaded the
phone call, telling them their children had been arrested for being an accomplice.
Having only one eye has also been a cause of worrying because Drooler can't always see everything he needs to be able to make a good decision. His companions serve as his eyes because he has come close to meeting his doom by slithering out in front of cars, who often aim for him since they don't know what he is. Drooler's main source of misunderstanding is his large teeth. They appear menacing, but they're actually harmless, since he's a vegetarian. The helmet he has been forced to wear to live in our world makes him seem distant because people don't know what it's for, or what to expect. His drooling has also caused problems, because some worry that he might have rabies, and are worried that his teeth might get too close. |
